This freedom also ​means no one can recover your wallet if you get ​locked out. Never share your seed phrase with ​anyone or any website. If your ​crypto is being held on a Centralized Exchange ​(CEX), Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, someone still has ​the ability to stop you from spending your money. It ​is very important that you learn how to self custody ​your money in a self-custodial wallet. Solflare, ​Phantom, MetaMask, CoinbaseWallet, are web ​based self-custodial wallets, or hot wallets. Ledger ​and Trezor are hardware based custodial wallets, or ​cold wallets.

When you are ready to purchase $HBCU Token, go ​to the browser in your hot wallet and visit Jupiter ​Exchange or Raydium Exchange. You can Buy $SOL ​directly in your hot wallet via credit card or you can ​buy $SOL somewhere else and get it sent to the ​wallet you plan to use to purchase $HBCU. Choose ​to “Receive” $HBCU Token. If $HBCU does not show ​up in the drop down list, paste $HBCU Token ​address in the search bar. If $HBCU Token does not ​show up on Jupiter Exchange, use Raydium ​exchange and follow the same steps to enter the ​token address manually. You just have to type in ​“HBCU” in the token name. Type in the amount of ​$SOL you want to exchange for $HBCU. Click ​“Swap” and wait for “Transaction Confirmation”. ​You might need to increase the slippage to 2-3% ​while we still have low liquidity if the transaction ​fails. Just repeat the steps until you see ​confirmation. Once you have purchased $HBCU, it ​might not show up in your wallet right away. You will ​need to import the token to your wallet. Click ​Manage Tokens in your wallet. Paste the $HBCU ​contract address in the search bar and import your ​$HBCU Token.
